New Alliance Theme for 2003 - 2004
The Africa Assemblies of God Alliance - AAGA theme for 2003 is ADVANCE AFRICA!  The focus is on an aggressive effort to progress on various fronts both presently and in the future. The 2003 theme is intended to focus the church on moving forward rather than basking in past growth. After a year of pointing to the future, specific areas of the churches' outreach will be pinpointed for emphases in subsequent years. Some of the focal points which might be highlighted in coming years include... 

ADVANCE AFRICA - In the Power of the Spirit - A renewed emphasis on the Pentecostal realities of our movement.

ADVANCE AFRICA - Reaching the Urban Centers - focusing on the major urban migration trends across the continent and the need to reach into the cities.

Annual themes are chosen by the AAGA Executive Committee which will be meeting in the Fall of 2003.

AAGA's Leadership
AAGA is led by an Executive Committee comprised of regional representatives elected from member churches in West, Central, East and Southern Africa. Additional members include the Executive Secretary and the AAGA Chairman. The Africa Regional Director for Assemblies of God World Missions-USA is an ex-officio member.
