If, when you think of Africa, you think of brown gray elephants crossing dusty planes below Kilimanjaro, Maasai boys leaning on spears as they keep a watchful eye on the cattle, pristine tropical beaches lining the Indian Ocean, then your thoughts are of East Africa. This is a place where new mingles with old and rhinos graze with Nairobi’s modern skyline as a backdrop. The Church is alive and growing in this wonderful part of Africa. The Battle Cry of East Africa and Indian Ocean Basin continues to be church planting. The supply lines are the 17 training institutions that prepare men and women to war against the strongman for a harvest of souls. In a strategic and purposeful way, the East Africa Assemblies of God and other partner churches proceed with planning for advancing into new and unreached areas.
